المقدمة


The study of medical physics is important for the student to understand human body functions, the basis of the human body system functions, as well as the basis of diagnostic and therapeutic methods. In that respect, the importance of studding electricity is based on the fact that human muscles, brain functions and the electrical medical equipment can be better understood by understanding the nature and principles of electricity. The physics of hearing and vision constitute an important aspect of this course. The student needs to study the anatomical and physiological structure of the eye, and the importance of this in physical respect. This will allow for the understanding of defective vision and its treatment using lences, the sensitivity of human hearing, hearing tests and ultra-Sounds.
It is important for the medical student to understand the physics of heat and its effect on human body functions. It is known that body temperature gives a good reflection of human health: In addition, knowledge related to heat calories available in food stuffs, can allow for a better choice of food items, as well as understanding the different methods of treatment by heat and cold.
It is important in the study of medicine, to study radiation principles and uses in diagnosis and treatment, and the means of preventing hazards of radiation.
The study of mechanics has got its relevance to medicine, since human body movement, in health and disease, is governed by the laws and principles of mechanics. It is important to study the laws of "power" and "equilibrium", in order to understand the clinical applications of gravity and circular movement.

1) General Objective:
To study the scientific features related to the understanding of the impact of physics on medicine.

2) Specific Objectives:
By the end of this course, the student is expected to:
